Cane + Davis is based in Maida Vale, West London, led by Spencer Cane. With over twenty years in the conservation business, Spencer has a specialist understanding of both traditional and modern techniques, as used in the conservation and restoration of historic picture frames and in the framing of modern pieces. Clients include prestigious art galleries, private clients, world-renowned artists, conservators and restorers, designers, photographers, royal palaces and museums.
The studio is open for consultation (by appointment only) Monday to Friday. Additional services such as mount-cutting, canvas stretching and the conservation/restoration of other objects can also be offered.
For items that are difficult or costly to move, an initial video consultation can be arranged.
